Happy Acres Resort has 60 acres of beautiful sites located in the Pine Creek Valley across the street from the Little Pine State Park. We offer a variety of camping options including sites w/full and partial hook-ups, 5 handicap accessible campsites, monthly sites, seasonal sites, primitive sites, cabin rentals and room rentals. We are open YEAR ROUND with campsites that have winter water and rental units that have heat, A/C, jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces!! We have an internet cafe with a computer for our guests and WIFI for you to use with your own laptop, along with Verizon cell phone coverage.

Our resort is the perfect setting for people who want to have a safe, peaceful, family oriented place to get way from all the hustle and bustle of everyday living. We already have many permanent and seasonal vacation home owners and we have room to grow if you wish to join us. You can visit us all year and enjoy the peace and serenity along with the breathtaking scenery and a variety of wildlife. If you are looking for a place to have a vacation, you won’t be disappointed with all that this area has to offer. We welcome those who would like to join our seasonal site family! We offer year round access to our campground along with winter road maintenance, propane filling station on site, a swimming pool, a bathhouse that is open year round with coin-operated showers, a laundry facility, an internet cafe, free TV cable, and septic hookup.

Everything You Need

The campground is built into a mountainside and every site is unique. Unlike other campgrounds, you will find our sites to be private and roomy. Our bathhouse is open and our laundry has 3 large washers and 4 large dryers. We also offer on-site propane at our propane filling station. Our campers enjoy the abundant wildlife, the exquisite scenery and the friendly neighbors. We have full hook-up sites that have 20, 30 or 50 amp service along with water/sewer and electric. We have a large playground with a mixture of the old original toys along with new ones for a fun variety for your children to play with. Our pool is available for our Happy Acres Patrons only. We also offer a horseshoe pit, shuffleboard and basketball for the all to enjoy. We have campground managers that live on the property and we do allow pets.

Unmatched Ammentities

Happy Acres Resort has a variety of different rental properties that sleep anywhere from 4 to 24 people. We take pride in the fact that they are clean and updated. All of our cabins have fully equipped kitchens and baths and many have jacuzzi tubs. We also provide heat and A/C, TV’s with VCR or DVD’s, decks, fire rings, picnic tables and gas grills and most units have fireplaces. The mattresses are covered in hypo-allergenic plastic and you bring your own linens.  You will find our rates listed on our rate page or you can call the campground for more information on rates and availability.

Restaurant on Site

The Happy Acres Restaurant and Wildlife Lounge has been renovated and is now open serving lunch and dinner. This is a family style restaurant, non-smoking. They have a delicious menu with our food made in house with the finest of ingredients and there are facilities for large banquets and/or small gatherings with 5 separate dining areas. Our Happy Store and Ice Cream Parlor sells a variety of candy, drinks and snacks, and other convenience items along with unique gifts, pet supplies and gifts, camping needs, souvenirs etc. The Ice Cream Parlor offers a large selection of Perry’s ice cream in cones and or cups, and fresh milkshakes. Unlimited Activities

We are located in an area with many attractions such as the Pine Creek Rail Trails (4 miles) which winds along the Big Pine Creek for over 60 miles of scenic hiking, biking and cross country skiing. Little Pine State Park (2100 acres) is directly across the street and along with their picnic areas and pavilions they have a 94 acre lake for fishing, swimming , canoeing, ice-fishing and ice skating. At the park there are miles of marked hiking trails, volleyball courts, basketball, horseshoes, boating (electric motor only), and boat rentals (paddle boats, canoes and rowboats). There is a local horseback riding stable and local bike rentals and canoe/kayak trip outfitters.

Williamsport is 25 miles away and the home of the Little League World Series. Wellsboro is 40 miles away and where you can see the spectacular PA Grand Canyon. Little Pine Creek (across the street) and Big Pine Creek (4miles) are the place to go canoeing, kayaking, tubing, swimming and fishing.

For the fishermen the creeks are stocked with trout and there are also native trout (rainbow, brook and brown), small mouth bass, pickerel, sunfish, catfish and perch. We keep an updated list of area activities in our office, or you can check out our area info page.


For winter fun you can leave right from your campsite and hop on Boone Run Road at the base of the campground and snowmobile for more the 100 miles along marked trails and roads from the last day of deer season until the 1st of April (weather permitting). Cross country skiing is right in our back yard on the rails to trails or one of the groomed trails in the state game lands within a few miles of the campground. You can drive 18 miles to Ski Sawmill for skiing and snow tubing or go to Little Pine State Park for a fun time riding the hills sledding and tobogganing and a 94 acre lake for ice fishing and ice skating.
