YOUR DEPOSIT is your promise that you will be there on the date that you specify for the length of time that you specify.

YOU RESERVATION is our promise to save your site for the date and time that you specify.

     
 Because we are an outdoor facility our policy is there will be no refunds due to inclement weather or early departure.

For a Confirmed Reservation:  Reservations are secured by a deposit at time of booking as follows:

Happy Acres Lodge and Cabins Deposit:  1/2 the cost of stay is required to confirm and hold your reservation, with the balance due 30 days prior to your confirmed arrival date.

All Campsites and Mountain Den Units:  1/2 the price of your stay is required to confirm and hold your reservation , with the remainder due at time of arrival

CANCELLATION POLICY

For Happy Acres Lodge, Eagles Nest Lodge and all other Cabin Rentals:
***Cancellation policy and refunds:  We know that plans can go astray.  However, we rely primarily on advance reservations and cancellations cannot always be filled. So to be fair to all concerned, our policy is as follows:  Any rental fees paid, less a $50 processing fee plus any credit card fees, are refundable, if the reservation is canceled at least 60 days prior to your arrival date.  If you cancel during the 60 days prior to your arrival, you will forfeit all rental fees collected. If the canceled reservation is re-booked, we will refund your forfeited Rental fee, less a $50 processing fee plus any credit card fees, after the end of that rental.  No shows will be charged in full unless the cabin is re-rented.  We recommend that you purchase trip Insurance to cover the potential financial loss.  For more information regarding the benefits of travel insurance we invite you to click on this link to Travel Insurance Review.Net  and/or visit www.InsureMyTrip.com to purchase insurance for your trip.

For all Campsites and Mountain Den Units:
*** Deposits are non-refundable.  All cancellations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance or you will be charged the additional balance due.

SECURITY DEPOSIT POLICY

  For all cabin rentals, a credit card number must be on file for your security deposit.  This is to protect us from possible damages to our property. This deposit  will only be applied to your credit card if necessary. 

We do ask you to sign a reservation agreement for our cabin and campsite rentals. 

Minimum Age Requirement Information
(Any modifications to this rule must be approved by the owner of Happy Acres Resort)
Minimum Age required to rent a cabin is 21 years and the person who books the cabin must stay at the cabin for the entire rental period.  Sub-letting or parents renting for their children under the age of 21 is NOT allowed.  No student groups or house parties of any kind.
Minimum Age required to rent a Mt  Den is 21 years and to rent a campsite is 18 years and the person who books the campsite/Mt Den must stay for the entire rental period.  Sub-letting or parents renting for their children under age is NOT allowed.  No student groups or house parties of any kind.
Cabin Visitor Policy

 We do allow day visitors for a fee.  Visitors must check in at the office and register their vehicle and pay the appropriate fees. The fee is $3/person and $8/pet with children under 5 free. Day visitors must leave the resort by 9:30pm.  These fees are not for overnight visitors as those charges are according to our rates per cabin.  These fees do not apply to our seasonal or permanent campers ONLY to our cabin rentals.  Though ALL VISITORS, whether paying or not are required to stop at the office and receive a visitors car tag. Yur car tag MUST hang on your rear view mirror, if you do not have a tag you will be asked to leave the resort immediately. We are a family oriented, peaceful resort, catering to those that want an enjoyable vacation experience.

               We have a strict no day visitors allowed policy for our campsites unless you have prior approval at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation. We are a family oriented, peaceful resort, catering to those that want an enjoyable vacation experience.
